Just across the
road from the resort, where the Hotel Del Venado once stood is the R.
V. Park. The park is equipped with 42 full hookups (water, sewer,
electric and television) plus showers and flush toilets. There is also
tent camping and a picnic area.

The pool and spas are heated by the water from
natural hot springs. The water exits the ground at
approximately 125°
F. and
must be cooled before entry into the pool/spa area.
Looking toward the main building from creek side,
one has a view of the peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Oops! Did somebody say "above the fog line
and below the snow line??" Most of the time California Hot
Springs is above the fog line and below the snow line. This
picture was taken in January 1990. FEAR NOT, the water is still
toasty warm.
